If I were struck blind, the vision I would leave with would be...
These people are the most important people in the world to me. If I couldn't see anything else for the rest of my life, I would want my last image to be of them. I changed the image to black and white in order to bring out the subjects, and also because I felt that the colors detracted from the subject matter. I also used a Gausian blur to make the subjects stand out. By keeping the photo slightly off-center, you get certain details that describe our relationship better than a nicely posed family photo.
The best part of my family is the dog. Not actually, but the dog reminds me of them. I live a family life vicariously through the dog, and presents. The subjects of this photo--the dog Bo, and the Christmas tree--are included in some of my fondest memories with my family. Plus c'mon look at this dog she's sleek like and arctic fox and tepid like 40 minutes after a blizzard and she can do a backflip and play frisbee.
Were my eyesight taken...
Struck Blind
Few things compare to four sisters being reunited after 3 years and two LDS missions. Especially when you're Twin A awaiting Twin B, which in this case, I was.
I love this photo and would choose nothing more than this moment if I were struck blind. Nothing compares to the friendship that I share with my sisters. No one else has the same humor, insanity, love that we collectively know between us. This moment freezes time as we all face each other and laugh again, just like old times.

Struck Blind | Hope
Hope. This image portrays a large range of emotions I've felt in life. Sorrow, joy, illuminating light, reflection, and most importantly, hope. This image is the last image I would want to be imprinted on the world due to my life. Specifically, that there is hope in darkness and there is always light peaking over the darkness.

If I Were Struck Blind...
Cliche BYU couple picture. We took this in the car right after we got engaged and is really the essence of my happiness in a picture.
Sacrifice of a Father
For this assignment I decided to take a picture of a picture. This is the only photo of my biological father that I have ever seen and that I will ever have. This was the day I was born. If I were to be struck blind tomorrow I would want the world to see this. To see that even without living my life with this man, he is still my father and I still love him. I would want them to see the love a father has for his daughter. See the sacrifice that was made here. I love this photo, and this is what I would leave for the world.
