My Snippet of Creativity

This weekend, my husband and I decided to make a mission statement, values, and begin creating a brand/logo for our family. We thought it important to establish what our family stands for and what our goal is here in the world before we have children; in this way it will (hopefully) become either instinctive for them, or give them familial pride. I know it doesn't sound like the most creative project, to think of a family kind of like a business, but I found that this project is extremely creative. How do I create something that the future will invest and believe in? It has been a really eye-opening experience for me.
