I took pictures of some flowers around Utah Lake. I decided to edit them as black and white for a couple of reasons. For one thing, I liked the contrast between the center of the daisies and the petals and I thought black and white accentuated that. I also haven't done much editing in black and white, so it was fun to try that out.

Center street has gotta have some good stories.
an open sign that is turned off means "closed"
Center Street is one of my favorite places in Provo. I've walked by that same "Lloyd's Business Machines" broken down store so many times, and have wished that I could buy one of their "electric typewriters."
I discovered this Roasted Artichoke building as I was taking these pictures, and I am so curious what it was like while it was still running. The whole building has been boarded up and is probably going to be taken down because its been deemed unsafe, but I want to know what the Roasted Artichoke was like whenever it was more than just a sign.
