Video Dub Star Trek

I did this little dub from the movie the latest Star Trek movie, it's based on the scene where Kirk talks to Khan, this is my interpretation of the conversation ;)

Close-Up

At first glance all you can see is a fuzzy image of letters that may or may not spell something out. The background is blue or black, but it does look awfully familiar...

Extremely loud and incredibly close

Okay, so this person, place, or thing isn't extremely loud after all--I just wanted to use a movie title in my blog post. Try to guess what this is!

Perception Through a Pair of Scissors

My roommates helped me create some artwork that proved how every individual perceives things differently. I started with three pieces of white computer paper, opened a pair of scissors and took turns tracing a few lines and a circle from the scissors onto each paper in the same place. Here are some pictures of what we each came up with in comparison to the initial lines from the scissors. It's pretty neat how even similar individuals can see things so differently!
