A cooling rack for cookies?
My first guess was a boarded up window, but the wood is too nice.I would never put a cooling rack of hot cookies on nice wood. But it was probably just pulled out for the picture.

I don't know what the technical/official name is, but a dish drying rack holder.
Going with oven rack from years of experience with cleaning checks.
