Here is an example of radial symmetry. I sold these rims this week. We know it is radial because the tire is focused on the central axis. All eights spokes protrude from the center. The depth perception is such that the bottom half is clearer and heavy than the top half. I did this to make the photo focus on the cleanliness of the bottom half and to draw them in to the details.
This is a picture from this weekend picking pumpkins with my baby niece. She is adorable and she is set up in such a way that the depth portray her as asymmetrical. We are drew in to focus on her because of the way of color of the pumpkins behind her. We can also see that she is asymmetrical with her head piece because it is distorted in a way that prevents it from being fully radial.
The human body is completely symmetrical due to the skeleton beneath it. This picture captures the symmetrical properties of the human skeleton. The angle and rule of thirds is applied here to make the skeletons seem as if it were moving or alive. As if it were in motion.
