This photo was staged before a Halloween party this weekend. Although not exact, this picture represents the principle of bilateral symmetry. If this picture was folded in half, the girls would mirror each other.
This photo is an example of asymmetrical balance from this weekend at the high school track. The man and woman are on opposite sides of the frame. This photo appears to have three layers of depth. The woman is the closest, then the man appears to be smaller because he is deeper in the photo. Lastly, the buildings in the background are clearly quite aways away as they are more blurred and details are undistinguishable. Even though the people are on the edges of the photo, it is still visually appealing and balanced.
I am a diet coke lover so here is my radial symmetry. The straw creates the axis in the center.
