I love fall! The
many gorgeous trees and leaves around BYU’s campus made this project fun and interesting.
My
first picture utilizes the rule of thirds. I placed the center of the tree on
one of the thirds lines hoping to increase visual interest.
For
the second picture, I tried to create a shallow depth of field. The front leaf
is crisp and in focus, while the leaves behind it are blurred and out of focus.
The
third picture creates asymmetrical balance. Like we talked about in class,
there is no way to really ‘PROVE’ things are balanced, but I think this picture
embodies the principle.
