Many times I have wanted to make this call to action to roommates in the past. It is clearly a humorous way to get peoples attention that they need to step it up in their sanitation habits. I chose the picture because it is funny and you almost get the feel that this baby is saying this.
As far as typography I kept it really simple. I think for a bold call to action you need sans serif which gives a more urgent feel. I used Zurich bold which is just a good font for being direct, clear, yet not distracting. I used just black color to stay with the scheme of the photo. Overall it kind of has the feel of an online meme. You can see how they would use similar typography choices as me to create the same effect.
Well... we don't want things growing in our sink. ;p
