In my use of typography I wanted to emphasize the word fun and allow the words to help transition the viewers eye to the roller coaster. I used the color red to connect the viewers eye to the seats on the coaster and because red is a color of passion. I emphasized the word "Fun" by making it a different font and by stretching the space between the letters. the word "Fun" is also in a font reminiscent of broadway posters or lit up street signs giving it an energetic feeling about it. The words "Join the" are thinner because they are almost unneeded, they merely give context and thus do not need much emphasis.
