For the grid assignment, I used the rule of thirds. The picture I used centers the child and dog, so in order to create visual interest, I placed the text on the two outer thirds of the photo. This placement also keeps the photo balanced by having a key subject in each third. The colors of the text are pulled from the colors of the dog in order to keep with the overall neutral tones of the photo. The type is meant to be fun and exciting without being too over the top and still looking professional.
