Accidental Art

I loved this assignment because it allowed me to continue what started on Center Street. When I started on my quest for accidental art I found myself searching for patterns. It's funny that art has become defined in my mind as repetition. Perhaps this is because I enjoy design that is pleasing to the eye rather than other kinds of art. The accidental art that I documented all led me to think about something that wasn't actually there. It introduced a new train of thought on accident.

when i first saw this, it looked like a door on a wall. now it looks like the letter "B", but i still remember it as the drawn on door.
i love the shapes in this one. circles and squares and trapezoids and lines. it is a visually pleasing image because it leads your eye straight through.
this was caused by heavy snow on the trees either too early in the fall or too late in the spring, when there were leaves on the trees. What a beautiful effect this accident has had!
tire marks that reminded me of my recent trip to Disneyland.
