The Walls of Joplin

Currently, I am traveling throughout the state of Missouri. As I considered what I could capture, I saw a wall mural that was absolutely beautiful. I decided that I wanted to take pictures of walls of buildings throughout the city of Joplin. I drove around downtown for several hours just taking pictures of murals and graffiti on the sides of buildings. Each photograph represents a different personality. Everyone has something to say, and some people express themselves through wall art. Every image that I encountered had a different feeling. There was personality depicted in the image. I wanted to reflect the personality of these images through my photographs and help to convey their expression.
