This assignment allowed me to continue to appreciate the little things that I see every day that I usually wouldn't pay much attention to or appreciate.
I work in the ASB, and I started noticing little things that seemed to be beautiful in it's own way.
(Yes, I know that sounds so, so cheesy).
This picture is of leaves that feel from the trees that formed a heart shape.
I really didn't arrange these myself.
In this picture, the pine cones fell from the tree and somehow landed on the ledge,
I seriously don't know how this happened.
When I walked into my office, someone had been playing with the taffy jar.
One of the taffies had melted, then stuck to the bottom of the jar.
Getting a good angle to show the colors that reflected off the poles was difficult.
In person, the poles were reflected so many colors from one another as well as when people walked by. I couldn't quite capture the picture the way I wanted though.
We have many notepads laying around the office for employees to take notes.
It looks like someone was aimlessly scribbling on this paper, but it also looks artistic.
I don't know if someone did this on purpose, but all of the blinds by my desk were raised just a bit higher than the one to the left of it. Every morning, the sun hits our office to where it reflects off all of the computers, and we can't see. When I noticed that these were all lowered in a "stair" look, I thought it looked interesting.
This one was my favorite picture I took. Since we work with individuals financial and personal accounts, it's so important that we shred unused documents. Just as I walked in, someone was going to throw away the extra paper that had fallen out of the bin when it was being cleaned, and walked directly in front of the fan, blowing strips of shredded paper everywhere.
It's funny how I'm so used to doing my day-to-day tasks that I fail to notice the small things around me. These past couple of assignments have taught me to appreciate my surroundings.
interesting
