- I can tell when a second passes with my phaser pedal if I set to the right setting and watch the light go back and forth. Or do the same with my metronome on 60bpm.
- I can tell when 60 seconds pass by playing all the scales on piano by the circle of fifth's in 4 octaves up and down as fast as I can.
- I can tell when 2 minutes pass by pushing down the toaster and waiting for it to pop up, but repeating this all day long to keep track of time would be tedious to say the least.
- I can tell when 2.5 minutes pass by microwaving popcorn and listening for when it stops popping.
- I can tell when 10 minutes pass by chewing a piece of left-over Double Bubble from Halloween until it loses its flavor
- I can tell when 25 minutes pass by the end of each episode of Friends my wife watches
- I can tell when about 2 hours pass by playing electric guitar until my fingers start hurting.
- I can tell when 13 hours pass by leaving my wireless headphones on until the battery dies.
- I can tell when a day passes because of the sun, but if I couldn't use the sun and let's say I am stuck in my bathroom I can tell by how damp the towels are.
- I can tell it is night if I crank up my amp and campus police start banging on my door.
- I can tell when 3 days pass by each empty 2L bottle of Coke.
- I can tell when it is Saturday because the house will be empty all day.
- I can tell when 2 weeks pass based on the color of the couch throw pillow covers
- I can tell when a month passes based on how my electric guitar strings feel. I end up changing them almost every 30 days, because that's about when the original bouncy feel becomes slinky and muggy, and the original shimmer and bite in the tone dulls to a unremarkable meh.
- I can tell when 3 months pass by the build up of fret gunk on my guitar.
- I can tell when the seasons change based on what hats or jackets or coats are hanging in the entryway

Time Observation
Sitting in my living room there are plenty of ways to tell how much time has passed, I'll organize my list from small increments to bigger increments.
