My husband and I are putting together a day camp for kids with Type 1 diabetes. I wanted to create something that we could possibly use to represent our camp's name-
dia-BEAT-it. I used the principles closure. The object of the fist is incomplete with spaces separating each line. However, we perceive the whole by filling in those missing gaps. I also used the principle of continuation. It occurs because the eye naturally travels up the fist and sees the "BEAT" part of the word. Hence, putting emphasis on "beating" diabetes.
I really like the copy here. You've also done a great job of drawing the eye to the word "beat."
