I was just experimenting with different words when this one came to my mind. I've always thought that the star symbol we draw looks sort of like an A and the word "star" has an A in it, so I figured it was a good match!
I did this in Photoshop and hand wrote it with a graphics tablet. I believe that it demonstrates both continuation and closure. The arc that the star makes over the text is continuation as it makes the eye move through the rest of the word. As for closure, both the S and the A-star are incomplete because they both run off the background, but our mind is still able to perceive the letters in their whole forms.
