Typography & Color - Love More

Something that I've noticed is the amount of hate or apathy people can have towards one another, especially in the millennial generation. At this phase in our lives, we are tend to veer inward. It's difficult to reach beyond ourselves. It's hard to look at another person and simply love and appreciate someone - not because of what they have to offer us, but because of who they are and where they are in their mortal journey. My call-to-action is targeted at the millennial generation (hence the use of emoji icons for lettering) with the message to love more and hate less.

I wanted the heart to be the first thing seen, followed by the whole word "love". I kept the typography clean as I didn't want to over power the message. I thought the serifs made it visually contrast the emoji symbols for their edges are very basic. I also used Photoshop to change the fist color to black-and-white. All people regardless of color can be susceptible to hate by either being the attacker or the victim. I wanted to make it not stand out by a color but also make it universal and applicable to all.
