My pictures
This photo grabs me because there is so much emotion. Don’t get me wrong I love to look at sunsets and mountains just as much as the next guy. However, I feel like this picture reaches me more than anything because I can see Tracy Mcgrady’s career in this single play of him dunking over the 7’6 defensive specialist Shawn Bradley. Mcgrady, although a great player and a future hall of famer, was always criticized for not being able to carry his team to a deep run in the playoffs. A lot of pressure is placed on the franchise player of any professional sports team and its visible in this photo the frustration he felt and his desire to overcome that criticism and doubt everyone had about him. Its no easy task to dunk over a 7’6 player but it was plays like this that set his legacy.
