Both of these images impressed me when I saw them at first glance. In the first image, I was taken back by the beauty of this single flower amongst all of the green. It was a rainy day and the overcast brought out all of the fresh colors out of the plants growing around campus. The majority of the flowers in this bush had died, but this one remained resilient despite the changing seasons and the cool weather.
In the second image, what caught my attention immediately was the person's feet. Extreme images and pictures which contradict the norm are the most fascinating to me. In this particular image, I can feel the courage and the adrenaline of this artist. This picture offers the viewer an angle and a perspective on life that people do not normally see. To see his feet in the picture also shows the amount of effort the artist must have invested to capture the image. Seeing this man from the waist down also makes the viewer feel like he is inside of this person's body. We are allowed the privilege to see the world from his perspective. As for the surrounding buildings, they seem to be sprouting from the ground, like plants. For years, man has cultivated this earth. Sometimes we spend too much of our time in the world and forget the beauty we have created. We must always be reminded to step outside and view what we have done from afar. Then we will see the beauty of our earth an all creations.
