The black and white feature of this image focuses all of the attention on the child's face. You are immediately drawn to his face at the center of the picture. This picture speaks to me because it shows pure joy. No one could be happier than this child right here. He looks the way a lot of us feel in our best moments. The photographer was really able to capture what is like to be so excited that you can barely contain yourself. He put the child right at the front of the image and it is clear that nothing else matters in the photo except the child. I love the way his face radiates happiness.
