The idea of solitude captures me. To be lost in pleasant solitude is an idea that only few truly experience in life. This image propels me to the future and the dream to have a place to go that is far from civilization and the unnecessary noise that surrounds us each day. Also, the contrast of a home within the mountains and the appearance of a front yard with grass is a great juxtaposition with the background of the clouds, rolling mountains and trees. The other aspect that fascinates me is that the photo is perfectly composed according to the rule of thirds. It is hidden within the mountain and the sun isn't touching the house, however the front yard is perfectly lit by natural light. Truly, this image portrays how I want to feel: peaceful, close to nature and balanced.
