Seeing it through your eyes

So I went grocery shopping last night and there were so many Gestalt Principles that were very apparent at Smith's. Down one aisle I was definitely was able to see the principle of similarity. It's difficult not to see it.
We are instantly grouping together all of the bottles of juice as one and then we are left with the StoveTop sticking out of the group.
For my design I though I would try to incorporate Figure/Ground and similarity and a little bit of proximity.
I tried to really zone in on figure/ground. As a whole you can see it just as being one single eye. But if you focus on the background then the iris is made up of a whole bunch of eyes and in the middle there is some small text that says "I see you." I used similarity in the colours of the different eyes that I used. You can see on the inner iris I tried to use more amber and brown coloured eyes which we then group together as shading. Then on the outer iris I used more greys and blues to appear similar and grouped together as another colour. Proximity can be seen because the eyes are all grouped together then the pupil is seen in the middle. We wouldn't just combine pupil+iris. We separate them into groups based on Gestalt's proximity theory.
