Some of the colors here are Harmonious like the blue and the yellow. I created a lighter skin tone by adjusting the hue slightly in microsoft paint. These colors are communicated from a RGB spectrum on my laptop computer.
Stop signs are usually red but how would you feel if you saw a blue or white stop sign? You might not take it as seriously. What about a yellow sign? Would this mean that you should prepare to stop much like in a traffic light? It's interesting how our brain is already programmed to read certain sign colors in a specific way.
