Gestalt Assignment

I combined a few different aspects of the Gestalt assignment by first working with closure in the word 'escape.'  Even though we know what it is saying, the white lines great a distraction from the word.  Luckily we understand what is going on but by creating the white on black contrast, I am hoping to create a snow and mountains feel.  I hoped to create a continuation pattern with the word 'forward' as the arrow leaves from the 'F' and continues right, helping to signify that by escaping forward, you are on your way to the mountains and freedom.  Lastly with the mountains and the triangles, the idea of similarity was demonstrated.  The mountains, mountain peaks, and green were all created from triangles grouped together to create a picture that we associate with mountains.
