Semiotics of a Bull

Signifier
A Large statue of a Bull, horns, tail, hoofs, and muscles, in an aggressive stance; head down, ready to strike or charge.

Signified
It signifies the Stock Market, and in a greater sense, America. It is strong, a fighter, ready to adapt and make it through any and all hardships that come up. It is also not a place for the weak or timid, Wall Street is for the strong and outgoing, just like a bull.

Support

The atmosphere on Wall Street supports that which I believe the Bull signifies, a harsh, business zone where problems arise quickly and the weak or unadaptable will perish. The bull is the epitome of what it takes to be successful there, the highly evolved beast, chosen through natural selection to thrive in the competitive atmosphere.
