This photograph grabbed my attention back in 2009. I was shopping for my new college dorm and I stumbled on this poster. Something about this lady in red startled me. My eyes traced the smooth lines of the Eiffel Tower. The scene was enlivened by the bird in flight and her leaping in the air across the street. The flash of red in the black and white was striking. The architecture of the buildings was gorgeous. It all was so tall and regal. It struck me. It spoke to me. It was my first taste of Paris, and for a moment I could see myself leaping right alongside her.
