Typography-- Hannah Nelson

When I look at typography I love it to tell a story. In this picture you don't only see the word "HORIZON," but you also see the letters taking form of what the meaning of the word would do. This type of creativity intrigues me. The artist found meaning with the letters by allowing them to have meaning.

  1. I love this too, Hannah. It's as if the O's have taken on the role of the sun and are interacting with the meaning of "horizon" like the sun does in our daily lives. Where did you find this? It's awesome!

  2. That's pretty cool. It is still simple, but it conveys a message at the same time.

  3. This is a beautifully simple example of typography telling a story. Man, I can't even get over it! I love when designers use typography AS a graphic as opposed to making typography and images compete. Great find, thanks for sharing Hannah!
