Typography - Will Hayden

I was really drawn to this image. I love the simplicity of the Graphik typeface, and how it conveys movement when paired with the image of an airborne skateboarder. I love the clean lines and squared edges of the ascender and descender. The typeface sets a tone for the entire image: one of simplicity and modernity. To write "boy" using a more stylized font like Wisdom Script or Homestead would shift the mood of the whole image.
