Immediately prior to doing this assignment I had been reading a textbook
that had cover covered in many shades of blue. For the first time, I realized
how beautiful this relationship was and decided to use a blue analogous color
scheme for this project. I set my Kuler wheel to analogous, moved it to blue
and started adjusting the colors. Bellow are the 5 colors I decided to use.
While it doesn't show up too much in the final piece, I used a paint
program online to design a background that incorporated either shades or tints
of all of the colors in my wheel. I then pasted the background into Microsoft
Word and layered triangles on top. I used the original hues to fill the
shapes.
