Similarity: Elements that share similar characteristics will be
perceived as belonging together. I found it difficult to create this... but in Window's paint something worked.
By no means the most unique thing I've created, but it shows similarity well. Top right corner is simply two triangles... we perceive a square but only because they were placed close together. A random assortment of stars makes "the big dipper." Also, the diamonds look like they belong together, even if they don't.
Also, I found this logo on an old box. There's a shopping cart in the hole of the "a", which shows Figure/ground.
