I chose to use this picture that describes perfectly the poverty that is in the world around us and it reminded me that those who have nothing seem to be the happiest. In America we are so used to having what we want instantaneously. If we would just simplify our lives and enjoy the little things in life we would be so much happier. I used a very basic, simple font and simple colors to illustrate this principle in my design.
The black and white image makes it more powerful than if it were the same image in color.
