Typography Assignment

For my call to action I chose to focus on the idea of donating to a cause.  The main message (donate) is the largest text and in the middle.  I shifted the baseline for the last three letters to create an upward motion.  This represents the uplifting power that donations can have on people who are really in need.  Also, when combined with the large quotation marks, the word donate looks like a half smile.  This adds to the message because donating can bring happiness to the people in need as well as to those who   donate.  The rest of the text in this image contains quotes from people who have been helped by the donations of others.  When they are all put together as a background of the main message, they represent the sea of people who have been helped and who are showing their gratitude.
