As a big fan of hot sauces, this ad caught my attention. Clearly the man is holding the bottle as if it were a grenade. He has his thumb on the cap as if here about to pull the pin on the grenade.
Not only does this ad make you think that the hot sauce is explosively spicy, but it also makes you think relate the experiences of eating the hot sauce and a grenade exploding.
This is a great example of how a symbol can relate two seemingly unrelated things.
