Semiotics: The Charging Bull

1. I see a bronze-colored bull that looks angry and about to charge. He is on the sidewalk in what looks like a city. There are a few people gathered around it.

2. This bull signifies Wall Street and as the symbol of prosperity and aggressive financial optimism.

3.  With its lowered head and fierce facial expression, it is meant to give the impression that Wall Street fights back against all odds and is always ready to do so. Currently, Wall Street is experiencing its 3rd monthly decline and the Ebola news scare has sent many nervous investors in airline running to invest in medical solutions. However, this bull was put up after the 1987 stock market crash and still stands today, giving and showing hope that even if stocks slump or crash, we will get back up on our feet again. We will prevail.
