Semiotics of Bull

1. The signifier is the bronze bull.  It is very strong, has two horns, crouched towards the ground, leaning to the right, and its tail is up over its body.
2. The bull signifies the strength, ferocity, and domination of the American market.  
3. The ferocity of the bull, shown through facial expression and stance, are significant indications of what the statue of the bull signifies.  Further knowing that this bull is placed on Wall Street in New York City gives a good indication that the bull represents the can-do American vitality in business.  Even though the market may crash, the American market continues to fight on, just the like the bull.  Determined and strong, the bull, just like the market, can’t be stopped and is in charge.
