Balance / Subject & Background / Perspective Photography Assignment

Balance: The trees that make up the bottom two thirds of this photo naturally balance each other out well. The mountains is balanced by the large building to the right of it, supported by the heavy texture of the cloud cover.

 Subject/Background: this photo is a very simple illustration of how the subject (the soda can) is made super obvious in the photo. The can takes up most of the image and is much more focused than the tables and chairs in the background.

Perspective: I love this picture. It was taken from the top of the JFSB during passing time between classes. I never realized how geometric some parts of campus were until I looked at it from this perspective. Taking the same picture but at eye level would have made it much less interesting.
