In this picture, the center stick turned into a dragon. You can see the faded black marks of the cement that make up it's wings. This dragon was protecting its land and tribe from the giant two legged beasts (humans) that were destroying the dragons' life, when he fell from battle.
For this, I imagined that the leaves were really footprints left behind by tree people. These people are completely invisible, except for the footprints they leave behind. As you can see by the different sizes it would appear like a parent was traveling with some children on some fantastic adventure. Maybe even to see a dragon.
I was really given a new perspective. Aside of the fact that whenever I see leaves I will now think footprints, I felt like a little kid. When you're a kid your imagination can take you anywhere. The tree in the backyard is really a fairy house. Dandelions carry your wishes to the wish granter. Things like that. It was fun to be able to look at some pine needles and give them a battle story rather than dismissing them as just pine needles.
I like this idea for those days that you end up sitting in a park waiting for a soccer game, or a parade, or anything. When we were kids our imaginations occupied us for hours, so why can't we do the same thing now?
ReplyDeleteThe image of the leaves on the side walk is a great find.
