Experiment of Thought...

What if my longboard allowed me to cruise through time?
I bet the speed at which I traveled would coincide with the speed at which time passed.
What if my sofa could speak? What would it say?
It would reveal my secrets to others as to what I've been viewing on TV. I would watch less cartoons and spend more time viewing something educational so as to avoid the embarrassment.
What if a broken mirror was actually a broken barrier, through which a path would lead to a different world?
The world would be a dimension of opposites. Not only would behavior and personality be contradictory to our own present state, but major and minor decisions we've faced in life would have been opposing as well. Where then would our opposite self be in life?
What if your garbage disposal was actually a garbage eating monster? Is it good or bad?
This monster would be evil, but the only way to keep it at bay would be to feed it garbage through the sink. Actually, there would be a mutual agreement between both parties to avoid further conflict.
If toilette paper could communicate, would it express dislike or fulfillment concerning its job?
I believe toilette paper in general would fill a commitment and duty to its job, thereby giving it a sense of fulfillment. I have no doubt, however, that there is a roll out there looking for something greater in life.
What if your air conditioner was an ice dragon that blew cold air through the vents?
I would name it Steve. How nice of him to provide me with that service. I just hope his fire breathing brother gets here in time for the winter season.

  1. Your toilet paper question was great. It sounds like it could be turned into a Pixar short, though I doubt it would ever make it to the big screen. I would ask, if toilet paper rolls actually did get fulfillment from providing their unique service, how would they feel about being thrown up into trees or used to make cheap mummy costumes?
