Don't TALK... think

I chose a simple phrase from a favorite show of mine (10 points if you can guess it) and decided to manipulate the font and kerning to visually convey the meaning behind the words. The word "talk" is printed in bold and all caps to help it stand out from the words "don't" and "think." Reading it, one feels the tendency to emphasize the word. The word "think" uses a softer, free-form font, which contrasts quite well with "talk." There is extra kerning between these letters helping feel more like it should be spoken either softly or slowly. It appears less abrupt. My intent was to mimic in visual style the way the speaker presents the phrase audibly.

  1. The fonts you assigned to the words give the feelings you intended for them. Nice.
