Hexagons and Cats

As I walked around campus this morning looking for examples of Gestalt Principles, I found this large poster near the Wilk. As you can see, the hexagons create a pattern (similarity) and two of the runners in the end hexagons are cut off, creating closure. Figure ground is also at play in the silhouettes of the runners.

To demonstrate some Gestalt Principles, I created the image below. Both figure ground and closure are used in this image.
