Everyone wants a litle closure

So I found this example Gestalt theory on a shampoo bottle. At the bottom it creates the image of a head. This demonstrates the principle of  closure because all that is really there is some swirls of lines. But how we perceive it is it creates a head in in the blank space and the lines swirl to create the hair. You could also apply the principle of continuation. Because if you start at the head that catches your attention, you move along the hair that then points to the name of the product: Infusium. It makes a natural path for the eye to follow along the elements.

So for my image, I decided to try the principle closure as well. I drew (then copied) an elephant. However, I did not draw a complete elephant. There are gaps at the bottom of its feet, its mouth and trunk, and its tail and ear area. So really, it happens to be a bunch of lines and curves. Yet, even though the whole elephant isn't there, you can look at it and see an elephant because our mind is able to complete the image. Also, because the elephants are in a line, they naturally bring you from left to right until you reach the small elephant. This encompasses the principle of continuation. Lastly, the small elephant is an example of similarity. The three big elephants are grouped together, and the small one is different enough, that even though it may be grouped via with the big elephants via proximity, it tends to stand out more than the others, and stand out alone.
