This image I found on campus utilizes the closure principle from the gestalt theory. There are missing elements within the text, yet our mind is still able to piece together what is being said: "Into the Mind."
I really like the imagery that is generated through closure. Within this image there are no solid lines, yet there is still a sensible shape that can be recognized within the disconnected text. While letters themselves are not connected, the closeness of them creates the sense of proximity. The image is still one unit.
