This first photo is of a few students eating their lunch in the Brimhall. What I really liked about this picture was that it captured a part of college life that is pretty unique to BYU. Undergraduates with children. As you can see, this mom and dad are eating their lunches on campus with the baby as they take turns going to class and watching their child. It would be very hard to find this scene in any other campus.
This next photo I chose is of a group of students studying in the JSB while they wait for their class to start. It's nothing exciting, but it's a scene each of us see and take part in every single day while we scramble to finish our homework before class starts.
This is a simple photo of just a bike rack. There are tons of bike racks all around campus and I never pay much attention to them. I decided to take a picture of them because they represent college students in the fact that we are generally a very poor group of people. Many students decide (wisely, I must say) to save some money on gas by riding their bikes to school. Even through the rain and the snow.
I decided to take this picture of the Cougareat to show the eating habits of college students. Most of us are in too big of a rush or too poor to eat well so we can be found getting in line for Chick-fil-A before we have to run off to class. I liked in this picture that the girl in the foreground is blurry because it helps emphasize the point that we are always hurrying somewhere.
My last picture is of a girl who has hidden herself under this display to get a moment of quiet. It's very hard to find moments of quiet in college life, so sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
