So I love the ocean, and I love Ghandi, so I combined the two into this piece.  I used navy blue as the base color (or hue) and then I messed around on Kuler by adding shades and tints of blue to get these different colors for the text.

This here piece of art was constructed by using only rectangles and lines but because of closure we are able to see the outline of a Christmas tree.  The proximity of the other rectangles at the bottom let us know that they go along with the Christmas tree theme, and so we conclude that they must be presents that are under the tree.
