The Quaint Homes East of Downtown Provo

My journey to downtown Provo took me behind Center Street to these quaint homes. I loved walking on this street and taking in the scenery of these homes. It was interesting to compare which homes' owners lived in the home and which owners were renting their home to college students. The ones that were rented out were not as well managed-- the landscape was more unkempt--- the lawn looked a little more brown.

As I was taking in which homes looked like they were rented out to students I came across the home just below this caption. Oh my goodness. What a beautiful colonial style home. The hedges were perfectly trimmed. The brick looked like it had just been power-washed to perfection. They even had a flag flying right outside the front door! It's amazing how the curb appeal of a house can effect so much. My entire opinion on the home and the people inside it was based on this 20 second glance I gave to this home. As I watched their teenage son take out the garbage I thought, they must be a lovely family. I know nothing about them but I've seen their house and it is beautiful.
