While perusing around downtown Provo, I found
some interesting places I had never seen or heard of before. Most of what I
found was around Center Street. To be honest, I have
lived here for three years and hadn't taken the time to really experience much
of Center Street at all. One of the first things I spotted was the sculpture
made out of old car parts holding the flag in front of the Provo Town Square
building. There was the Convey Art Center, where they had plays and art pieces
displayed. There was a guitar shop that must have had more than 100 different
hand-made guitars. Even a street performer playing music added to the creative
and artistic atmosphere. The Soap Factory displayed some soaps that were made in the shape of some Star Wars
characters which I thought was talented work. I was surrounded by creativity. The different types of authentic
foods like Peruvian, El Salvadorian, Chinese, etc. made me drool over the
delicious smells. I found myself saying, “I need to come back,” multiple times.
It’s funny to think that I’ve been missing out on so much and it
has been under my nose the whole time.

That street performer was a boss!!!
