Call to action

My call to action is to get people to stop saying "I can't," and instead believe that they can. I wanted to bring a personal feel to it, because it is a negative thought all of us at some point have, so I made the background a piece of binder paper. I used a san serif font to make it clean and simple. I made the center of the message the biggest text size. I didn't want the image to be too heavy because I wanted the message to seem simple. I increased the kerning on the "I can't" so that it stood out a little bit more than the other words. I kept the leading almost next to nothing to form one cohesive phrase. I also aligned the "I can" with "do anything" so if you didn't look at the right side of the image all you would see is "I can do anything."

I wanted to keep the color scheme simple so I used black for the letters to add emphasis and then harmonious reds for the other aspects, the line on the side of the paper, the "delete," the arrow and the circle around the "'t," by adding tints and shades to the red. I thought the color scheme would be best this way because it is common to use black pens for writing and then red pens for editing.
