Say Sorry

For my typography/color assignment, my call to action was to get people to say sorry for a mistake, or whatever apology that needs to be said. The visual element is that the y's are the hands in handcuffs, symbolizing the metaphoric chains you put yourself in when you don't apologize. The typography was selected with the initial "say" as a more slender font and the "sorry" as a bolder font, calling them to action. I warped the sorry to be in an arc shape, to follow the line of the handcuff. I also used the red hue, because red motivates people and calls them to act. I used a darker shade of red for the word "sorry" to draw added emphasis on that word. The hands/handcuffs remained in black to represent the feeling of sorrow.
