In this photo, the sun is emphasized as the central figure also in using the rule of thirds. The certain exposure highlights the suns rays which stand out brighter and more effectively than the closer surrounding nature.
This picture has somewhat the idea of asymmetric symmetry in the sense that there was a straight path aligned on either side with a beautiful tree line.
In this picture I attempted to use the rule of thirds to highlight that one pine tree located toward the right side of the shot.
